“VISIONS OF WARRIORS” TO SCREEN AT THE FREMONT MAIN LIBRARY
“Visions of Warriors” will be screening at the Fremont Main Library on Sunday, 5/26/19, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We’re very excited that our documentary will be returning to the San Francisco Bay area, where it was made. The Fremont Main Library and the Dublin Library are two libraries within the Alameda Country Library system that offer Veterans Resource Centers. Created by a partnership between the California public libraries and the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet), these Veterans Resource Centers connect veterans and their families to benefits and services for which they are eligible. The Fremont Main Library’s community partner for this screening is the Fremont Family Resource Center. According to their site, they are “a welcoming place where families and individuals are nurtured, encouraged, and provided quality services to build on their own strengths to help themselves and others.” This event is made possible by a partnership between the California Center for the Book and Veterans Connect @ the Library. Thank you to you Julianna Opel, Fremont Main Library, their Veterans Connect @ the Library program, the Alameda County Library system, the Fremont Family Resource Center, and the California Center for the Book for this great opportunity.
